Seeking, chasing and following your passions

If money is not an issue and you knew you could not fail, what would you do?

Too often, we are confined and have built that invisible boundary and box around us, preventing us from taking on new challenges, trying new things, and defying our own limits. We hold ourselves back by making excuses and are stopped by our own fears. Taking all that away, take a moment and think about what you would do. What are the things that gives you the most joy and happiness? What are the things do you want to achieve and overcome? What would set your soul on fire and give you life? What would make you the most proud?

I wanted to bring up this topic because I am guilty of experiencing these fears; the thought of failure, the embarrassment, and the long list of other excuses that can come up. However, we also need to actively acknowledge the opposite scenario. All the positive outcomes and the things that COULD occur if we simply faced all our fears and ignored all the excuses. What is the worse that could happen? So what if you embarrass yourself and fall flat on your face. Life goes on. You learn, you improve, you move on. Let’s hope that you don’t literally fall flat in your face and hurt yourself because that would not be very fun…

No matter what your passions, hobbies, interests, and dreams are. There will definitely be obstacles that will come your way throughout the journey. But if you put in the hard work and effort, continue to to find that drive and be persistent, it will be so worth it in the end. It honestly can only get better. You can only get better.

“You are confined only by the walls you build yourself.”

This was more of an inspirational pep talk for myself. I do hope that you have gained some inspiration as well and start thinking about things you have always wanted to but never gotten a chance to, or was always too afraid to. I am here encouraging you to JUST DO IT! Talk to and tell someone about it. By simply saying it out loud or writing it down, you are already taking the next step to holding yourself more accountable and increase the chances it will be realized.

This leads me to share with you another project that I have been working on. Yes, I do have this vegan lifestyle website already, which there are still many aspects of it I have yet to dive into. Nevertheless, another one of my passions among many, beyond nutrition and health, is photography. Particularly, nature and wildlife photography. Thus, I present to you: Adventurously Us!

Adventurously Us is a photography-based travel service and community. Feel free to read more about it on our site, and visit our Welcome blog post introducing who we are and all that other jazz. Our main service is to provide affordable photography workshops and tours in stunning locations while connecting with like-minded individuals. It is not just about us teaching or sharing our knowledge. But collectively it is a learning and memorable experience full of discovery, exploration, and unexpected adventures.

That’s the end of my little plug for the new project. The purpose of this post was to give you that motivation and encouragement to go and conquer your own goals and work hard at doing so. It is more about the journey than the destination and the end product, so appreciate the process as much as you can. I encourage you to try something you have never done before, no matter how big or small it is. Continue to challenge yourself and better yourself, because as far as I know, you only have one life, today will only occur once; so make it count and make it worthwhile.

So, if money is not an issue and you knew you could not fail, what would you do?
